Photoshop This Week: Top Five 11.07.08

I’ve put together a broad range of items this week. Varied yes but everything touches Photoshop in some way. As always, I post this list each week. If you find it interesting make sure and check out my past and future editions. Subscribe t this blog’s RSS feed. And don’t hesitate to let me know if I missed something.

  1. You Suck at Photoshop: Season finale. Donnie is at it again. You Suck At Photoshop ends its second batch of episodes with what appears to be the end for Donnie. We even get to see what Donnie looks like.
  2. 30 Ultra High-end Photoshop Tutorials. Ready to take it to the next level? Very cool high end Photoshop work and how it’s done.
  3. Sixties Space Siren. Pop culture is an amazing thing. We all have like life experiences through our mass produced culture. For those of you old enough or fans of the original Star Trek, Deke show how to make any woman look the way James T. Kirk sees her. You know, that lusty starship captain way.
  4. Review: Apple’s New MacBook Pro (Somebody Get My Gun!). If you use a Mac and are interested in the new Apple Mac laptops check out this review from a Photoshop users perspective.
  5. Terry White’s 2008 Holiday Gadget Gift Guide. Terry is an Adobe guy with a gadget lovers heart. Plus he gets his list out early enough to slip some hints about these items to loved ones.

And how about our new weekly poll? Looks like the majority of those voting will be updating to Photoshop CS4 in the next 12 months if not sooner. This weeks survey question: When do you plan on upgrading to Photoshop CS4? Results: Already have. 33%, Before the end of this year. 20%, In the next 12 months. 7%, Not going to upgrade. 0%. This is nto a a scientific poll, it’s just for fun.

Do you like this weeks list? Did I miss anything? Post your additions here. Got something for next week? Email me and let me know.
